Martijn van de Hel and Adriaan Craita successfully assisted Eneco in obtaining approval from the ACM for the acquisition of Gulf Gas + Power.
Eneco supplies gas and electricity to customers in the Netherlands. Eneco is part of Eneco Group, an energy company that operates in various countries in the European Union, producing sustainable energy from renewable sources such as wind, solar, water and biomass, and supplying electricity and gas to large and small customers.
Gulf Gas + Power is a provider of energy solutions. As an energy supplier, Gulf Gas + Power focuses on large and small consumers in the Netherlands.
The acquisition received extensive media coverage.
The acquisition was notified to the ACM on 5 November 2025. The ACM approved the acquisition on 25 November 2025.
