Martijn van de Hel and Saskia Stolk have successfully advised an international investment fund on obtaining approval from the Bureau for Verification of Investments (BTI) for the acquisition of an international chemical company.
On 27 March 2026, the investment was notified to the BTI in accordance with the notification requirement and investment assessment under the Vifo Act. On 24 April 2026, the BTI announced that no assessment decision was required, because the acquisition of control does not result in any risks for national security.
