Diederik Schrijvershof and Leah Peeters gave a presentation on healthcare procurement at the meeting on Management & Funding and Healthcare Procurement organised by the Dutch Association of Hospitals (NVZ). Among other things, they discussed practical lessons that can be learned from case law on compliance with the Integral Healthcare Agreement (IZA) by healthcare insurers. The NZa's enforcement of the healthcare (procurement) obligation and the amended Regulation on Transparency in Healthcare Procurement under the Health Insurance Act were also discussed.
