Maverick Advocaten launches information portal on anti-dumping

Maverick Advocaten launches an information portal on anti-dumping investigations by the European Commission (Commission): www.antidumping.eu. On this portal, companies can find all the information and tips they need about the procedures, interests involved and implications of the relevant legislation and regulations in the field of dumping and anti-dumping investigations.

The Commission may initiate an anti-dumping investigation when it suspects that products from countries outside the European Union are being imported into the EU at artificially low prices. This can cause damage to European industry, which is put at a competitive disadvantage as a result. The Commission therefore continuously initiates new investigations into possible dumping and actively monitors the volumes and prices of various products to identify (possible) dumping more quickly.

We are receiving an increasing number of questions about what this procedure entails and what the possible consequences are for buyers, exporters and European producers. Maverick Advocaten has therefore launched the information portal www.antidumping.eu.
