A team of Maverick Advocaten represented Sandd at a hearing before the European Court of Justice on 11 April 2018 (case C-256/17). The hearing concerned preliminary ruling proceedings in response to questions raised by the District Court of Rotterdam. The questions relate to the Postal Services Directive and the cost allocation system of PostNL for the Universal Postal Service. This system forms the basis for the postage stamp price. Advocate-General Wahl is expected to deliver his opinion in this matter on 20 June 2018.
