Maverick Advocaten represented Sandd, the second largest postal operator in the Netherlands, at a hearing before the Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal on 4 July 2018. The proceedings concern the very first market analysis decision of the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (“ACM”). In its market analysis decision, ACM has designated PostNL as provider with significant market power and subsequently imposed regulatory obligations on PostNL. With its decision, ACM aims to ensure more competition on the Dutch postal market.
