Martijn van de Hel and Adriaan Craita have successfully assisted E. van Wijk Group in obtaining approval from the Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM) for the acquisition of Steenbergen Holding B.V.
E. van Wijk Group is a logistics service provider with offices in the Netherlands, Romania, Ukraine and Poland. The company has its own fleet of more than 350 trucks and provides transport within Western Europe and from Western Europe to Eastern Europe and the CIS countries. In addition, E. van Wijk Group offers services such as storage (warehousing), forwarding, cross-docking, groupage transport, (inter)national distribution and customs clearance.
Steenbergen Holding B.V. is a logistics service provider that focuses on 24-hour distribution of shipments within the Benelux. The company has a fleet of 180 trucks and operates from five locations in the Netherlands and Belgium. The head office is centrally located in Bodegraven.
The acquisition was notified to the ACM on July 2, 2025. The ACM approved the acquisition on July 17, 2025.
