Martijn van de Hel and Adriaan Craita are currently advising a telecom provider on the decision of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy regarding the amendment of the National Frequency Plan in connection with the allocation of the 3.5 GHz band (5G) for mobile communication (NFP). As part of the NFP, there will be an auction for the allocation of (5G) frequencies within the 3.5 GHz band.
The NFP and the 5G-auction were appealed to the Rotterdam District Court by Maverick Advocaten on behalf of the telecom provider. A total of ten market operators appealed against the NFP amendment decision.
