Cyriel Ruers and Mats Reijman successfully assisted a producer organization for textile companies in an investigation by the Authority Consumer & Market (“ACM”) into possible restriction of choice in the sector. The ACM was concerned that the impression may have been created that only the organizations concerned could be contracted with. As a result of its investigation, the ACM found no violation and opted for a warning. The organizations involved will communicate more clearly about the freedom of choice for textile companies. No sanction was imposed.
