Cleo Habraken started working as a junior associate at Maverick Advocaten in March 2024. In 2020, she successfully completed her bachelor's degree in health sciences at Maastricht University. During a medical-scientific research internship, she discovered her interest in the legal aspects regarding healthcare. In 2023, she obtained a master's degree in health law at the University of Amsterdam, focusing her thesis on the legal challenges associated with the implementation of virtual care centers within the Dutch healthcare system.
In addition to her full-time legal studies, Cleo worked as a consultant in the healthcare sector. She also gained practical experience at two other law firms in the healthcare practice group. During these internships, she encountered competition law and her interest in competition law has since further developed.
