A team of Maverick Advocaten has assisted Waterland in obtaining clearance for its acquisition of Nuts Groep. Waterland is an independent private equity investment group. Nuts Groep is an energy supplier for consumers in the Netherlands and Belgium. The transaction was approved by the Authority for Consumer and Markets on 31 March 2017.
