A team of Maverick Advocaten has represented Stern, one of the largest automotive groups in the Netherlands and listed at the Amsterdam exchange, in its acquisition of certain assets of Koops Furness. On 29 september 2014 the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) granted an exemption from the standstill obligation. On 7 October 2014 ACM approved the transaction.
